Through this new report, Design Impact lifts up six shifts emerging at this time of unprecedented change. As organizations, communities, and leaders look to navigate this dual pandemic, we offer a nuanced view of shifts that are emerging and accelerating, with prompts for reflection and action that can pave the way for change.
What we pay attention to matters. Many of these shifts are not new. Some are emerging, others accelerating into the mainstream. We’ve lifted them up in part to honor that, as adrienne maree brown says, “what we pay attention to grows.”
This is a work in progress. We imagine that as our world continues to rapidly evolve, so will our understanding of these shifts. We invite you to continue to push and challenge them.
