Bridgette’s extensive experience consists of organizational development, management of multifaceted collaborative stakeholder projects, coaching emerging leaders and staff, and establishing trauma-informed, wellness-centered, and equitable practices to support purpose-driven organizations.
At Design Impact, Bridgette will focus on supporting the organization’s human resources management, team leadership development and operationalizing practices that dismantle systems of oppression.
Before joining Design Impact, Bridgette was the Chief of Staff at Common Justice, a victim services and diversion program for first-time felony offenders. There she focused on the staff wellness and development, organizational culture, operations, and special projects.
Bridgette has held various non-profit and government leadership roles. Bridgette’s accomplishments include leading a collaborative planning process to develop a multi-million-dollar RFP that established the Center for Trauma Innovation, a victim services program for underserved communities; securing a partnership with Open Society Foundation to expand harm-reduction initiatives to support grassroots organizations led by directly impacted people of color; and shifting federal funding to grassroots organizations to support healing and survivor-centered services for the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community. Bridgette received her bachelor’s and master’s Degrees from Xavier University of Louisiana.
