Levi Tran

Social Innovation Fellow

Levi loves exploring nuanced issues and enjoys working through challenges using the human-centered design approach.

Levi is a recent graduate from the Maryland Institute College of Art’s Social Design Program. He calls Pennsylvania home, but was recently in Baltimore before joining Design Impact. He hopes to use his background in graphic and interactive design to support the DI team in his role as a Social Innovation Fellow.

Levi’s skillset pulls from a wide array of disciplines, including but not limited to: print, publication, digital, UI/UX, web, email, photography, videography, and motion graphics.

He looks forward to leveraging his design and creative talents towards addressing complex social issues and supporting initiatives that promote equity and capacity building.

Levi is excited to gain more practice in creative problem-solving, becoming involved with more multi-disciplinary projects, and deepening his understanding of how and where to use design in the modern world.

Creative Outlets: Solving puzzles, learning new skills, keeping up with the day’s technological innovations, and experimenting with new softwares and tools like virtual reality, 3D printing, and digital fabrication.
Causes: Accessible public transportation, transit equity, and the practice of universal design approaches.
